Is there something more inspiring than nature? Since childhood the attraction towards the world of nature was growing in me! The encounter happened spontaneously: being curious I was observing nature with no prejudice, and I also learnt to know its secrets and respect its rhythms. Thus I did approach all the elements that nature was offering to me, with the curiosity that only children have and few adults are able to maintain.
The observation and contact with nature have fed my first years of study at the University. People of great relevance have taken me by hand, growing my passion. I met great architects as Renato Bazzoni – founder of FAI, together with Giulia Maria Crespi – Gilberto Oneto, Ippolito Pizzetti, as well as masters of sculpture as Simon Benetton and Giuliano Mauri, who have indicated to me the way. I did intertwine my life with the best experts of the flora – among them, Pietro Solle, botanist of the vivaio Spertini, who shared with me the secrets of the woods while working on the willow. These were fundamental encounters that did guide me towards a profession that at that time, at variance with other countries, was poorly known in Italy, and I became a landscape architect.
Now I can gather the fruits of a life experience devoted to nature, I can wander at 360 degrees among aspects that are cross-sectional and interdisciplinary and I can look at the future, as seeds thrown in the wind, towards “New Visions!”.
Nature must be loved and known in all its forms and rhythms through the use of all the five senses.
From the people that I met along my road I learnt a lot: but much more I learnt from water, light, air, sand, soil, small animals and silences of nature.
